On the afternoon of May 20, the 10th G50 Central Wine and Spirits Summit forum was held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was jointly organized by the Wine and Spirits Branch of Hunan Wine Association, Hunan Wine Alliance, Renchuang Sugar and Wine Association and Zhongnan Wine Circle, attracting experts, scholars, distributors and bar leaders from the wine and spirits’ field. The theme of the forum, "Whisky Development Trends in China", aims to promote the development of the whisky industry in the central region.
At the forum, Zheng Yingping, Secretary General of Hunan Liquor Association, and Li Hongyuan, chairman of the organizing committee of G50 Central Wine and Spirits Forum spoke on behalf of the industry and the organizers respectively. Mr. Sun Fangxun, a famous Chinese wine and whisky expert, and Mr. Gao Kailang(Alan), founder of Goalong Liquor shared the history and prospect of the whisky industry respectively.
In his speech, Gao shared his vision for the future of the whisky industry and led the audience to explore how to achieve results and success in the industry. The Goalong Distillery Single Malt Whisky also won the 2023 Best Whisky Brand/Distributor award, which recognizes the long-standing efforts of the Goalong Liquor Group and their continued commitment to providing high quality spirits.
After the meeting, Mr. Gao invited participants to participate in the private tasting whisky party of "Wine Friends, Private Banquet" held by Goalong Whisky Club to celebrate the honor. In this unique reception, participants tasted four different single malt short aged liquors from Goalong Distillery, each with its own unique flavor and taste, which received unanimous praise from the attendees.
